Room 2 created yoga stories using freeze frame movements to illustrate and create interest for the viewer/ reader and help tell the story.

Room 2 went to the science fair at the memorial hall today.... we even had ice cream.😄

Come with me to Aogashima where the views are stunning and the jungles are peaceful and adventurous. It's a magical place with majestic forests and relaxing and fantastic monuments with mysterious colours. The plants are magnificent and they have breathtaking colour in them. It has fabulous tropical fresh fruit and spectacular palm trees. There's roast outs at night and parties around the fire. Come with me to Aogashima!

The view is breathtaking. The water is clear and shimmers in the dark when the lights are shining. Up above the lake there is a stunning red bridge. The people in Ireland colour the lake by putting in green dye. The lake shines when the light hits the green water. The people in Ireland dye the lake green because it is a part of the festival. Come with me to Ireland!

Whaea Desiree left us a note! Fantastic room 2.... I'm so proud to be your teacher!

Today was dress up for Halloween! We read about it, wrote scary stories and did some art too. This is by Lytrell. Fantastic effort.

 Our topic for term 4 is about our world. For an art assignment each student picked a country and designed a jandal that represented visiting this country. We call this "Kiwis wander around the world!" because we all like to wear jandals in NZ and this seems to be a very New Zealander thing to do.

The senior school had a visit from Comvita. They told us all about bees and how to look after them. They let us know how important they are to our world. They have encouraged us to grow some flowers for the bees to provide them with food. They gifts they brought were a packet of seeds each and a yummy nut bar they had made using honey!

Yesterday we made bookmarks for book week. Lyncon decorates his chromebook with his! Hope he is still doing his reading though.

Today Room 2 had a book sale during maths. We had to barter to buy 3 books. We tried to earn as much money as we could by using good salesmanship skills.

                           Here is a picture of Platinum and I reading a book together. I love being a teacher aid because I get the chance to see young people grow in their learning.

Room 2 have created some goals for our class so we are successful in our endeavours just like Olympians! Teams win medals when they use these skills to win our team games.
