Writing today in Room 11 reflects on an event yesterday. We co created level 3 descriptions and now work together to use some of these words in our own stories. Lots of questions about similes that make sense and what personification is!

Matching and challenging game today using te reo position words in sentences and pictures of marine life . Children challenge each others ideas and explain why they think the picture should be moved.

Today we have room 2 in our class and we have had a great time! We have done listening and leadership activities to learn how to work together and memorise information. We have then read some books in groups to find some cool descriptions and Miss Nicola put them together into a story. We are now working on memorising the story using the strategies we brainstormed from our activities. It is super crazy and exciting using drama!

 

Bookshop for kids!

On Thursday we made a bookshop for the school children. They came from the library and these are not needed anymore so they can go to new homes. Pretty much all the books were gone! Children said thank you and the room filled with smiles. I have been collecting pokemon books since last year. A good book is one that is interesting. Everyone finds different things interesting. Tame
