We are learning to use our peers to teach us how to add level 3 adjectives, verbs and adverbs into our narrative writing.

Room 2 has muffin time for reading in a caring and supportive environment. Miss Nicola makes muffins with a few students and others share stories on storylineonline or from their chapter books from the library. Sometimes we read for sustained periods silently to improve our focus.

Room 2 are learning to create a 3D image by manipulating areas of light and dark in a circle to create a sphere.

Room 2 love to take turns being the teacher and reading to the others especially in the sun after swimming.

It's a game, it is te reo,  it's fun, exciting and hilarious! Lincoln visited our class to play and he won all the time just by being cheeky! Whaea Koryna is something to look forward to on a Friday.

 Groups are starting to work on ideas for art sculptures for Pappy's garden. They are needing to consider materials suitable to stand up to rain. They need to think about wind and how they will stand or be displayed. They are collecting and sharing their ideas for design too. Next week they will apply for any materials they need as a budget request.

Miss Nicola went on a course in the weekend to learn about how to teach digital technology to her students. Learning about how a computer works enables us to make decisions about technology and empowers us to think of ways we can use computers to become more innovative.
